Rockstar Yamaha Vallli Motorsports rider Jimmy Albertson has arrived in France to race the MX Des Nations this weekend for Puerto Rico. The race will be held just south Saint Jean d’Angely.

Big thanks to Valli Motorsports and Rockstar for their continued support even though the 2011 National MX season finalized its schedule last weekend.

The annual event since 1947 is the biggest, most prestigious off-road motorcycling event in the world. This year 35 countries will battle for the coveted Chamberlain Trophy. The race has a three class format. MX1(450cc), MX2(250cc) and Open class(250-450cc).

” Top Jimmy” will be racing the open class  for Puerto Rico, with Tommy Weeks replacing the injured Zach Osbourne in the MX2 class, and Luis Grana racing the MX1 division. Team Manager is Gabriel Catala.

Albertson wanted to thank longtime personal sponsors Troy Lee Designs, Shoei Helmets, DVS, Dunlop, E-Fitness Academy, and Alpinestars who are all involved in this world race effort, along with Valli Motorsports team sponsors.

The event will have a live webcast on September 17-18th on  http://www.mx-life.tv/  The time difference is 5-8 hours depending on EST and PST if you are considering tuning in.

Good Luck to Gabriel, Jimmy, Tommy, and Luis of Team Puerto Rico!
