The Rockstar Yamaha Valli Motorsports racer finished off the season with a 10th in the final moto of the season. A combined moto score 13-10 gave him 11th overall on the day.
Jimmy is extremely grateful to Chad Lanza at Valli Motorsports to ride for the Rockstar Yamaha team the for last half of the season. The TLD/Shoei rider had returned to the nationals at round #5 as a privateer coming off a knee injury from Anaheim SX before Valli Motorsports hired him to replace an injured rider.
Albertson commented, “I really hope that Valli’s plans allow me a spot on the team for 2012. The whole crew has been extremely supportive, and I have made some great friends here. I feel good on the Yamaha, and the off season will allow plenty of time to dial in the bike for SX.”
“Top Jimmy” also wanted to thank Valli and Rockstar for their continued support in regards to the “MX of Nations”. The team has sent suspension and motor components overseas for the event. Albertson will ride a Yamaha 450 in the Open class for Puerto Rico September 17th and 18th.
